Sugar is a type of drug (but not like cocaine). We have a biologically-programmed preference to sugar, that as much is natural itself. However, our industrialized and globalized society promotes it significantly more - and that might not be so good as time goes on. But you go on eating sugary drinks and salty snacks if you so wish. It’s still “a free country”, as they say.
