A quick review of poistings on Fairfax underground.com, leads me to beleive that Fairfax should have a BEHAVIORAL/MENTAL HEALTH DOCKET at its courts.

If the Court in Loudoun County can have a BEHAVIORAL/MENTAL HEALTH DOCKET, Then certainly Fairfax Should have one too.

Absolutely not, you are putting the cart before the horse. Psychiatry is a specialty in it's infancy. No two clinicians will give the same diagnosis or prescribe the same regimen of medications. Such an imprecise science SHOULD NOT be given force of law, especially when it comes to confining human beings involuntarily, force feeding them drugs with debilitating side effects and stripping away their civil rights. Socialized conventional medicine is bad enough but psychiatry and politics should never mix.

The argument that The Psychologist & Psychiatrist have different opinions is a good reason to have an Authority make A Final Decision on the varying expert opinions.


I really don't know how the Mental Health Court works, but I do not beleive the punishment for those found to have some behavioral/mental health disorder is to throw them in Jail.

In the Mental health court, the "Punishment" should really be a "Treatment" that doesn't involved confinment unless the person is likely to harm himself/herself or others.

So you want an "authority" with even less psychiatric experience and education to have even MORE power to commit people to a locked cage indefinitely than the shrinks who can't agree with one another???? Just face it, there is no way to do this fairly and justly. Blackstone's formulation is still relevant here as is due process. It's better to wait for the "mentally ill" person to commit a crime and then put them in regular jail because "mental illness" is no excuse and preventive detention policies always incarcerate far more innocent people than "potentially" guilty ones. As for suicide, that's one of the most basic human rights ever. Go nanny someone else asshole get bent.

I might add that in addition to having the armed government agents selling Adderall and Benzos to unwilling customers, big pharma uses the very same armed government agents to protect their monopoly by incarcerating people who sell Adderall and Benzos to willing patients without giving big pharma a cut!

I’m no fan of pharmaceutical companies, but no one is ‘force feeding benzos and Adderal to everyone’. And what the hell is this ‘armed Government agents selling their products to unwilling customers’? If anyone needs a psychiatric drug, it’s you.

Pharmaceutical lobbyists created the practice of involuntary commitment both inpatient and outpatient and they did it because no one in their right mind wants to take their poison!
