So there is a bunch of construction along 28 near Mclearen. Looks like they are burying a bunch of pipes in the ground. Anyone have any idea what this is for?

So far I've heard that it is Natural Gas, and that it is a Jet-A fuel pipeline for the airport.

Those pipes are being placed in the ground in response to the many requests for the location of head shops on this forum. Now everyone knows where the pipes are located, no need to ask anymore. Party on, Wayne!

I think its a pipeline for Jet A fuel.

In case you are worried about al qudea blowing it up, Jet A is basically Kerosene and is actually safer than natural gas.

It still explodes. Things that explode hurt people and make a mess.

It is indeed a pipeline for jet fuel that will go to Dulles Airport. Colonial Pipeline is the company who is responsible for it.

What is all the stuff that is being put in above ground? I thought it was just supposed to be a new underground pipeline, but there is a bunch of other unsightly aboveground stuff.
