They've been pulling people over a lot lately, even off of campus grounds near Braddock Road.

Does the money go to Mason? Do they have a larger incentive to fill a greater quota so that they can impress their bosses and get their careers off the ground? Mason is getting too big for a university and is starting to leech off of Fairfax residents.

A friend of mine used to be a campus cop there. Admin actually prefers you don’t pull anyone over and stay inside the campus guarding the lots and decks. Also fyi the money goes to the state not GMU directly. GMU police gets most of their money from endowment. Also, GMU police s a stepping stone for most cops. The ones pulling traffic all night or getting into “real police work”, are the same ones waiting to get a call back from a more enforcement minded department. This is why you’ll notice certain spells of GMU going on tirades on Braddock and Ox. Then once those officers leave, it’ll quite down until the other batch get hired.

More meat for the grinder. Every year we audit the budget, every year we catch their commanders squandering money.

GMU Poleece is a mess. They literally hire people other departments won't or that were fired with just cause. One person who's name rhymes with bustin' comes to mind.
