Good point, but didn't Fairfax County do that a couple of time during the last storm? Not as early as 12pm, but the day before?

Last weeks storm, they did. (A first for Dr. Dale)

With Dr. Dominech as superintenedant, schools closed 2 days before if the forecast called for 2 inches of snow.

MEanwhile, PW, Loudon, Stafford, Culpepper plus others have closed for tomorrow.

Edit: Also, Faquier, madison, Rhappahanock. If FFX cnty misses tomorrow, it doesn't have to be made up. http://www.fcps.edu/about/06-07cal.htm

Not surprised, I hit a lot of side roads, fine with the 4x4, but if you hit up G Town Pike, that and others were atrocious.

VDOT gets a fail for this one.
