Well, things could well be different just a rather short distance down the road, but outhere in the gorgeous heart of the Sweet Spot, it was partly cloudy and an even 30 degrees when I got up (just 25 over at KHEF though) with trace winds out of the north. The boiler-and-baseboard heat is of course doing its usual top-notch yet low-cost job, and we were able to get a quick grocery run in late yesterday, so we should have at least the potential for self-sufficiency over the next couple of days. Might still dine out or have some food brought in of course. That’s just something that we wealthy retirees like and can easily afford to do. Gotta use that 8.7% pay increase for something.

Also a basement utility space and woodworking shop. There are lots of handmade hardwood cabinets, shelves, and built-ins of maple, hickory, and cherry. All very nice.
