Just a PSA for all that drive through Fairfax each day. There's a red light camera at the corner of Rt. 29 (Lee Highway) and Jermantown Road. Actually, the red light also serves to monitor right turns onto Jermantown Road from Rt. 29 when heading south on Rt. 29. When you're turning right on Jermantown Road and the light is red, come to a COMPLETE stop. Or, the camera will nab you because it will record your speed as you're making the corner. The cost: $70+ for the fine.

I remember when a former administration banned all the red light cameras in VA. The democraps must be running out of "someone elses money" already. Expect the rebuilt Rt 7 and other main roads to become toll roads soon.

I went through that camera on my way to Arby’s recently. Luckily, the light was green so I didn’t get a fine.

Take a "brake" and snag a taco from Tippy's which is right there in Jermantown Square :) - no need to run that light!

Tippy's is gone from Jermantown. Probably 4 or 5 years now.

The really nice lady sold it, and it was closed soon after. Sad.
