1. Brooke Point @ Stone Bridge (-35)
- Nailed this one. Stone Bridge won 42-7.

2. Colonial Forge @ Freedom-Woodbridge (-21)
- Freedom won a thriller 30-27. Late FG for the Eagles was the difference. (In response to the person who responded to my comments: I don’t think the QB for Freedom is “bad”, I said he is mediocre. What I meant was, compared to the rest of that team, in my opinion, I think he is the weakest link. He’s a good football player, no doubt about that. This team is loaded at every position, and I think that the QB position is the weakest position on the team, from what I’ve seen. Now, at any other PWCO school, or a Lee, or a Wakefield, he would be a stand out. I meant nothing bad with what I said, it was an opinion. I wish him the best of luck this year & if he decides to play at the next level.)

3. Edison (-5) @ Washington-Lee
- W&L won 14-8. I think I should’ve went with W&L, as hard as it is to do...

4. Lake Braddock (-21) @ Hayfield
- LB won 44-7. The bigger story is how bad Hayfield is, though. When their Senior QB leaves, and they have to play this schedule again next year, these losses could be even uglier. I don’t think Hayfield will win their division, and they’re going to have to work hard just to make the playoffs.

5. Lee @ West Springfield (-28)
- WS won 48-0. Lee is very bad.

6. Osbourn Park @ Chantilly (-20)
- Chantilly wins easily, 42-6.

7. Robinson (-30) @ Langley
- Langley won 41-40. Was anyone at this game? I completely blew this one. What’s going on with Robinson?

8. South Lakes @ Madison (-21)
- Madison won 18-7, but did not cover...

9. Stuart @ Annandale (-6)
- Stuart won 26-20. Annandale with 3 straight losses by a combined 13 points.

10. T.C. Williams @ South County (-10)
- SoCo won 41-13. They have a very good team this year. Looking forward to Soco - LB for the Patriot District Championship.

11. West Potomac (-28) @ Oakton
- WP wins and covers, 41-7.

12. Woodson @ Mount Vernon (-3)
- MV 56-21. I like the Majors this year. Woodson has definitely taken a step down from last season.

13. Yorktown (-35) @ Wakefield
- Yorktown wins 41-0.

- I think this one will be one of the close games. I’m going to go with the Jags at home.

Lake Braddock has a real hard time with physicality. Arm tackles kill them vs Westfield. Simmons knows if they just play hard hitting, sound football, the Bruins will create the big play for them! I've never seen a more talented team with such poor fundamental skills!

If the Bruins were playing 2 hand touch they might have a chance but that would mean they'd actually have the fundamentals to get both hands on the offensive player. Mayfield is terrible this year. No reason why we won’t smoke them. Hendo has lost this team. Centreville is definitely beatable. Madison is nothing special and won’t have speed to stop our rb’s in the open field. Westfield is a challenge but we’ve played them super tough, we’ve come closer each year the last few times we’ve played them to beating them and they can’t stop our run game either. We have history of beating Westfield in playoffs.

LB was 2-3 mistakes away from winning. KR TD, dumb decision for fake punt, and just impatience. Wf is definitely the ffx team to beat still, but lb played better than I thought they would. Interesting to see how lb responds. Only tough game left is soco.

Decided to head over to WF tonight to see what all the hype was about:
1st half an evenly matched game, lots of missed opportunities for both teams.
Second half, WF simply made more Big plays. LB took some chances and it cost them, guess you chalk that up to Coaching.
All in all, one of the weakest WF teams I've ever seen upfront on both sides of the Ball and LB still lost. Northern Region football has become pathetic. LB better 1-1+ athletes, WF didnt make any STUPID coaching calls!

That's it. Neither of these teams will be playing for a Title.

You know as well as I do they aren’t gonna show their face. They set themselves up for all the smack talk they’re about to get. But I tell you one thing, I sure can smell what the doc is cooking. And It smells like a loss.

Both of those long FG attempts were stupid coaching decisions.

The KR never should have counted. A huge block in the back on that play. You can see it clear as day on the replay. It’s all over Twitter.
Even with that Doc was out coached and made too many mistakes. Use your weapons and the QB you have.

Let me spell out how ignorant you are when it comes to Football:

Kicking a Field goal when its 4th and long on your opponents 23 is not stupid.

Kicking a Field goal when its 4th and long on your opponents 26 is not stupid.

Missing both kicks just kept it from being a bigger blow-out.

There are penalties on every play that don't get called let's watch the entire film and assess all the penalties tomorrow morning!

Say what you want about the line play you saw two of the better QBs in the entire state play. The fact that you can't even acknowledge that makes the rest of your diatribe suspect.

Doc and staff did everything they could to win, but Refs won that game for Westfield. Block in the back on the KR was a huge no call.
Lets face it, the refs wanted Westfield to win that game. Anyone who was there could see that.

No big deal we will win the rest of our games and win the region, you will see

Let's see. What makes more sense: let a kicker who has hit 1 varsity FG in his life try some long ones OR let an FBS QB with over 50 TDs in his career make something happen? If you aren't going to let your QB make a play punt the ball inside the 10.

Yep. Because every below average plodder hs qb can make that throw. I mean after all, the rest of Virginia has like what? 10 QBs that can play for Ohio State? Right? if you ain't going to Ohio state your just NO GOOD!

Soco will handle Braddock.C-ville not good enough to beat WF or Madison. Looks like WF/Soco winner vs. winner Smith/Freedom.
