This charter school proved to be an awful employer. What institution would treat their employee in such a shabby way, and expect competent and dedicated people to continue to work there? And given that, how can they even make the claim that they are about advancing the lives of students? Although anecdotal, this is why many people dismiss DC schools as a hopeless case, no matter the lip service paid to equality, concern over disparities and the like.
