Wasn't there a theater where the Costco now is on Richmond Highway? Wasn't it abandoned for a long time before they tore it down? What was it called?

There was a building there after that location closed, it had a really large parking lot and the building was closer to Richmond Highway. I drove by it a few times, but never remembered what it was called.

There was the Mount Vernon drive in that was near the 7-11 and the big trailer park on RT 1. It closed in 1984 and became a one of those large multi screen operations that closed several years ago.

Super 29 was on RT 29 halfway between Fairfax and Centreville.

My Vernon multiplex.
Across the street was/still is ghetto bigger area called Gum Springs.
When shit would get crazy, gunshots would hit the theater, hence the nickname “GUN SPRINGS.”
Besides having a large criminal nigger demographic, the car wash didn’t help next door either.
