395 was never built. 95 was and was renamed in the late '70's.

And 95 was to go completely through DC....

Thank god it didn’t go through dc as planned. The freeway would have destroyed all those beautiful, historic neighborhoods. The anacostia freeway is just as convenient as 95 would have been.
