I’m totaling speculating, but when the police say that there is no danger to the general public it tends to mean that either the police have a suspect and the motive was personal or they have a suspect who is in custody in an unrelated matter. Either way, they can’t release more detail without getting flooded with false tips by weirdos or people willing to say anything to convict a suspect — any suspect — for this crime.
