You can do very well trading currencies, if you know what you're doing. If you're using a Ouija board, things might not go so well.

I did try H&R Block. They know nothing about currency trading. GreenTraderTax is the best. They sell you some material to read. Very heavy on contents. Getting older and no patience to read, looking for some trustworthy CPA.

We always knew that this thread was just going to be a setup for plugging some questionable site. It just took a little longer than expected.

Currency trading on margin. You might as well take the money and go to Vegas. You would at least have some fun while you were pissing your money away. You are not only betting that you know better than the market the direction. You are also betting you will win big enough to cover the cost of the funds borrowed to finance the investment.

Tax accounting rules for currency trading are not particularly complex, even if the sales are on margin. It may be more than the typical trainee at a storefront tax preparation firm can handle, but any decent CPA or tax law firm could easily do the returns.
