Hey highwaytard, you are getting boring. Go back to talking about Arthur Treachers, it’s much more interesting.

Back in the mid 1980s The good father enjoyed his crunchy fish sandwich and frosty...what was it, Fanta? while he drove along an unnamed highway waving to parishoners. Eventially the highway was renamed in his honor, and we have never forgotten the thrills and joys of "hurlying" down the road while munching on that delicious meal.

Father Hurley used to hang out with Nanny Helen Burroughs. Often he would say to her, Would you like to go for a Gude Drive?

Chain Bridge Road is named after a chain suspension bridge built across the Potomac in the early 1800s.

And the actual bridge at the end of Chain Bridge Road, Chain Bridge, is also called that after the original chain bridge.
