OLD ROADS

These are extremely fascinating questions about the rich history of our NoVa area roadways.

It got me to thinking, back in the day we had dirt roads and gravel roads, which one do you think was better?

Back in the day, you were responsible for maintaining the road in front of your home. No help from VDOT. It was all on you.

Dirt roads were better. Gravel tends to chip up you paint if you are driving fast.
