King was a pivotal figure in the non-violent civil rights movement. During the 1950s and 1960s, he sought to improve race relations and overturn discrimination in American society. He is remembered for his powerful speeches which sought to bring about a united society – where race did not act as a barrier.

I respect him. Social problems can improve with education. It's never really a race issue at least here in the US the way I see it. Blacks are quick to use race as a tool but only a few use it productively. Same for uneducated whites...they use race to blame others for their own misfortunes.
King had it right. Violence and aggression soles in silos. We need to embrace race, and work together objectively and with a good moral compass.
