Are the trails at fountainhead any good for hiking? Or are these just for mountain biking?

All trails are shared trails. But, watch out for the mountain bikers who are trying to make videos to show their friends that they can still act like a high school kid.

The last time I was there on the trails I almost got run over twice by speeding mountain bikes. I got a good laugh out of one biker who almost hit me and then about 100 feet tried to make a curve too fast and wiped out. He was all cut up, his bike was screwed up too. I stopped to ask him if he needed any help in a concerned voice. His response "No I'm perfectly fine."(Said with blood running down his face and legs all scrapped up.) I laughed my ass off for the rest of the day remembering it.

Forgot to mention, do the trail towards Bull Run. Great trail. No mountain bikes, but steep at points. A better trail is https://www.novaparks.com/parks/hemlock-overlook-regional-park

I guess it's funny if you're a 'mature' hypochondriac.
Anyone that mountain bikes trails, especially at fast speeds, knows the inherent risks and expects to crash. He was perfectly fine if there were no broken bones or need for stitches.

I don't think trails in fontaneda good for Hiking. I have often seen cyclists racing there at a very high speed. Some of them also perform complex tricks, so I would not advise walking there. I also noticed a few times there installed cheap trail cameras (I don't have such because I prefer binoculars) that are needed by hunters in order to monitor the animals, their prey, so if you do not want to be shot, it is better to walk somewhere else. I am a hunter myself so I know what I am talking about, guys. Just take care of yourself, ok?

No, they suck because it's just a bot's spam post.
