No one would ever give a friend a Volvo. An enemy, sure, but not a friend. Time to ditch this "friend".

Go see Mark at Swedish Import Services on Spring St. in Fairfax behind the shady Rodeway Hotel. He is the best Volvo mechanic in the area and very honest.

Don Allen's on Eisenhower Avenue. Went there for years.
Save yourself a lot of headaches, and just take the Volvo straight to the auto recycling center in Lorton. Maybe they can melt it down into something useful like a paperweight.

Expensive parts and high hourly rates make Volvo ownership a royal pain in the a$$. Especially since Volvo's tend to need a butt load of maintenance. Ditch the Volvo and buy something Japanese. You can thank me later.

Well despite well meaning efforts, there really is no proof conversion therapy works. I’m afraid you’ll be a cock sucker for life. Try to find other Volvo enthusiasts and enjoy the ride!

If you have the balls, Volvo’s will last a couple of million miles (give or take a mile or two).
This P-1800 is now pushing 3,000,000 and still going.
