Steampunk Virginia FX Team 1865
Summary: Inspired by the FRC Team 1577 who has developed
an electric wheenchair kit that can convert a regular wheelchair
to an electric wheelchair, SP Virginia Fx Team 1865 is created
at Fairfax, VA .
Virginia Fx Team 1865 is a "model" community service/community outreach initiatiative innovation lab & workshop to support underserved wheelchair restricted disabled with such a kit adoption to enable greater mobility, and some cases a contribution to physical/occupational therapy assistance to wheelchair bound disabled who live among us, include, Vets, Seniors, Kids and others who have lost mobility of walking due various medical conditions or other reasons.
Philosophy: Encourage "inclusiveness" possible to enable wheel chair bound persons with limited means, to participate and be more inclusive with a electric wheelchair, adopted from a regular wheelchair as is possible with this innovation, first demonstrated by our inspiration Team 1577, located in Israel.

amazing how many trolls seeking publicity for government funding post shameless ads on ffu!
(note 1: factories make them. note 2: one hard worker could provide a flow of new wheelchairs for all of fairfax - without even fussing over fixing them since the flow would be more than sufficient)

A business cannot run on just meeting Fairfax County needs.
A business in order to stay in business must go wherever there is a need for their product.
Case in point is a family run business who makes an excellent wheelchair
that I am also exploring as a possibility.
But the cost of a "refurbished" electric wheel chair is about $1800--$4000
But among all the wheel chair providers, including the Chinese companies,
this American company in Florida has quality and "refurbished" wheel chair
for anyone who needs one.
But of course they don't have the "Virginia Fairfax Team 1865" kit, that obviously would be much less to create and fit an existing manual wheel chair.

Hello guys. I am really happy to live in the 21st century. Many people think that people are evil now and we just destroy our planet. It is partly the truth but there are many advantages. For example, now I can buy Firefly wheelchair attachment for a handcycle. Several decades ago it didn't exist.

It's always an inspiration to see what technology has managed to make possible for so many individuals that need to continue living a normal life. Imagine if it wasn't for electric wheelchairs where would our Paralympic athletes be standing right now. Possibilities are endless with such machines. I have a disabled friend in Orlando that keeps boasting about the greatest prices for wheelchair rentals he has been able to get when he competes in 200 meter competitions. The guy had a grave accident with his motorcycle a few years ago and thanks to these wheelchairs his will for life has not drop backed at all!

Indeed. I had a mechanical one, and it's too much sometimes specially when you are trying to chill and see places whilst on a trip!

Hello everyone, I understand how difficult it is today to find a wheelchair with the characteristics you need, because I myself recently encountered such a problem. So I want to share with you folding electric wheelchairs lightweight. Hope this helps you find the best wheelchair for you.
