Homocide in my apartment complex

So, we live in the Post forest apartment complex near Fairfax Corner. It's a gated community. We saw a cop car driving around the other day and wondered what that was all about. Turns out somebody got killed in our apartment complex, on our street. That sucks. Here's the excerpt from the Police Incident report:

On June 13 at 11:45 p.m. Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies in Florida arrested an individual for an outstanding warrant. That man was found to be in possession of personal property belonging to Gluckstern. Fairfax County homicide detectives are traveling to Florida and will meet with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office to continue the investigation.

Fairfax County Police are investigating the death of a 46-year-old Fairfax-area man. On Tuesday, June 14 at approximately 4:30 p.m. police responded to 12110-A Elm Forest Way in the Fairfax area to check on the welfare of Richard Bennett Gluckstern. Police found him deceased in his apartment. His death is being investigated as a homicide due to the Medical Examiner’s finding of asphyxiation as the cause of death. Detectives are currently following up on active leads and the investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS/8477 or police at 703-691-2131.

Hey dlee I live on EF too. from what I have read it sounds as though his father beleived he was to attend the fairfax fair thing, which maybe lead to the meeting with that person in florida. I hope it was a chance encounter and it is a shame our safe and comfotable comlpex gained exposure by this.

That made me laugh.

The internets are a vast wasteland of spelling errors, syntax fuckups, and compositions comparable to 2nd graders writing thank you notes to restaurants that invited their class full of little monsters to check out the kitchen and have a free burrito. Oh yea; run on sentences, too.

Richard Gluckstern was a good friend of mine. It was unfortunate that he passed in such a way, he was really one of the nicest people I've met in a long time. He trained jiujitsu in Alexandria with us at Capital Jiujitsu.

He just recently moved into that complex because they decided to renovate his previous apartment complex in Alexandria and forced everyone out.
