I use to belong to a newsletter that was called the themonthlybuzz. It was a newsletter that was sent once a month with all the events in Northern Va and DC. It listed all park authority events, wine tastings, specials events\bands at local bars, festivals, muesums, singles groups, etc...

I know the Post lists some of these events in the weekender section but I really don't want the censored Post calendar.
