So apparently Fat Tuesday's, the college bar in the back of University Mall, has decided to stop showing NFL games at the bar until there is a stop to the protests during the national anthem. Their Facebook post about it is blowing up with comments right now.

Last time i was in there i didn’t see a single bartender or server stop working during the national anthem. They just continued on working as if the Star Spangled Banner was some excuse to pour beers and serve chicken wings. I was disgusted by their lack of respect for our fallen heroes and have not returned since.

We have never been to Fat Tuesdays, but we are going to give them a try this weekend. Good for them for taking a stand. God bless their daughter and keep her safe!
