I heard there are areas to hunt Canadian Geese around Fairfax, but google is not helping. Does anyone know more about this?

yeah sometimes you have to type in exactly what you are looking for, and others times you have to use key phrases to find the goal you are looking for. that google sometimes it works and some times it doesnt reminds me of tree i once knew

If you were a real hunter, you would know the laws about hunting in FFX county, and you would know where canadian geese migrate through the county during the fall.

I suggest you just pull over on the side of the road on Dolley Madison Boulevard, about 1/4 mile north of Lewinsville Road, and wait there with your shotgun.

I hunt geese, but I haven't found anywhere to hunt in Fairfax. I know one area where there are some, I'm going to knock on a few doors next week and see if I can get permission to hunt there. Right now I have some land in western Prince William County that I have permission to hunt on this season.

The main problem with hunting geese in Fairfax isn't finding the geese, it's finding land where you're allowed to discharge a firearm. Practically all of FFxCo is off-limits, and I'll bet the few areas that aren't are pretty well controlled by the land-owners. Your best bet really is to find a spot in Loudoun, Prince William, or Fauquier counties...

Anyone know of some good beaver hunting spots?

Call Mike Hunt at Virgina fish and game. He can put you on some beaver as well.
