Friday, April 28, in the Sully Police District.
If you use the "mobile apps" they always indicate where the checkpoints are. Always check mobile apps before leaving a party.
Last weekend-
This weekend our DWI Enforcement Squad conducted a DWI checkpoint on Burke Lake Road. They arrested 6 people for suspected DWI!

I don't understand why they announce the checkpoint locations. Doesn't this defeat the purpose?

At a checkpoint NEVER admit to drinking ANY alcohol. You are admitting guilt. Just keep saying no.

If you see a checkpoint and can't get out, just pull your car over and walk away. Can't be charged with a DUI if your not in the car. There is some story of a guy who did this, they found him, and tried to charge but magistrate threw it out. Cost? Retrieving car from pound and an Uber.
