I'm a lifelong Caps fan. However, few things are as certain in sports as a Caps playoff disaster. They are already into their springtime pre-playoff swoon. None of the core leadership (Trotz, Ovie, Oshie Backstrom, Carlson, Alzner, Holtby, Mojo) have NEVER advanced beyond the second round.

They may win the first round (that's a tossup), but they will 100% lose the second. Bet every penny you have on this. Instead of being angry and upset, make some money off their demise!

Oh, don't forget about the Nats. There will be a new thread in September for them.

Not to worry, Arthur Treacher's always win's both rounds and you definitely don't lose all your money!!

The Caps have definitely improved. They're tanking now instead of waiting untill post season.

I'm also a 30 year fan so I'm aware they will fail as always.i was just thinking the other day how I Should lay a few grand on a sure thing. The only question is will it be first or second round?

I think they "surprise" us and lose in the first.

First round is a coin toss. Second round is a mathematical certainty. What website do you use to place your bets?
