driving over wilson bridge this morning, there were police lights running all around mgm garage...but nothing in the news...

PGCPD has an ongoing contract at MGM. Each man-hour is OT BTW. There are always 4 or 5 cars parked on the North and South sides. There are one or two parked on each level of the garage as well. MGM security also patrols constantly.

Correct, there were 3-4 PG police cars there on Friday afternoon just observing traffic. PG County police also work security inside the MGM complex and I saw four to six officers inside the other day. PG County built a very elaborate new station and jail nearby in anticipation of the new casino.

I think it's just for traffic and a show of force to deter DUIs. I've been to the casino twice on weekends and they have been there both times, lights flashing all around the casino.

They have at least 2 coppers at each entrance ..Plus mo where you cant "See Um" and other security guards plus armed security not cops too.. In Maryland Its Easy To Get Gun Permits to Guard Big Money....Forget About Your Life..
