yo someone explain what happened, i thought westfield was supposed to be top 100 in the nation?

Those were the old days when Westfield had talent. Heard it's a young team with no more superstars. Guess they needed a stud to transfer over this year. Stone Bridge will totally rule next year. They are young also.

I don't think there is any denying that Stone Bridge and Westfield have been the top (most consistent) high school football programs in Northern Virginia the past decade. When those two play, it can go either way. Sounded like a good game last night, wish I had made it out.

It was an excitin game but it could have gone either way with if someone had made a play.

Tonight Stone Bridge won 7-3. All the scoring happened the first 5 minutes, very boring from there.

Stone Bridge looked 20 points better than Westfield talent wise, so kudos to Westfield for giving them a game. They'll need a better qb though.

Battlefield H.S. in Haymarket is the best team in the state at this point. They own a 32 game regular season winning streak. Westfield stinks and Stonebridge isn't much better.

Lake Braddock has the best team. They beat Battlefield in the state playoffs, and have almost everyone back. They just beat a pretty strong Langley team 49-10. Then Battlefield beat an 0-1 team by 3 this week. In Battlefield's region, Osbourne Park is probably better this year.

Regardless, the Northern Region is where it's at for depth and competition on the football field.
