I think you might have meant Reagan's friend, Saddam Hussein.

Jimmy Carter should be banished from America.

No. The Shah had the fuckers under control but he killed a couple hundred terrorists a year and was too brutal.

People who know so little about Jimmy Carter should be banished from America. Not that many of them know anything about America either.

I lived through the Carter Malaise.

Carter's only achievement is that he was better than Osama.

You must not have been paying attention. He started the deregulation movement, which got the government out of regulating prices and entry in various industries. He also brought in Paul Volcker as Fed Chairman (after the disastrous G. William Miller). These moves were very good for the economy. Reagan reappointed Volcker and continued the deregulation movement.

In addition to squeezing runinous inflation out of the economy -- the result of the guns and butter policies of Nixon and Johnson -- Carter approved the startup of the "smart bomb" and stealth technologies. As an engineer, he understood the implications of these initiatives, unlike Reagan, an actor, who initially opposed them.

Stealth, yes, but it was Clinton who put the oomph into smart weapons development. Also, Carter struggled to control the inflation that Nixon's mismanagement of the 1973-74 oil shock had led to. He did much better at bringing down what had been an also problematic unemployment rate.

It wasn't the actor-thing that undercut Reagan, nor the scientific illiteracy. It was more just the doofus-thing.

Jimmy Carter is a super-delegate who supports HRC.

You see, in the "Democrat" party, certain people count as double.

Pelosi is a super-delegate.

Obama is a super-delegate.

Schumer is a super-delegate.

The list of morons goes on and on.

But my point is, that the Democrat Party rewards certain people, just like that Progressive leader of the Soviet Union, Stalin. If you were connected, you ran the party, had a car, and a dacha. If not, you did exactly what the Progressives ordered you to do, at GUNPOINT.

Democrats/Socialists/Progressives/Idiots, whatever they call themselves, are the a danger to the United States, and I'll spend the rest of my life defeating that party. I have already converted about 12 Democrats to vote for Trump, and I want 100 more. It's not hard to do, once you sit down and talk to a voter.

No, he didn't.

The stealth programs were well underway with flying test models before he even took office.
