What is the traffic usually like from Rte 28 and 50 going north all the way to Rte.7 at 8 a.m. in the morning? Anyone please.
If I leave close to 8 a.m. could I be there in 30 minutes....12 mile trip.

Thanks.

Yep right around 30 minutes, it's against traffic. But of course just one accident and forget about it. Cool trick to guess times -- go to google maps and put in coordinates for directions, and then you can put in approximate times that you're going to leave or want to be somewhere and it will give you approximate travel times.

Just look up traffic times on Google maps.

8am in the morning? As opposed to 8am at night?

Leave at 7am to beat everything, but no your best bet is to leave at 745 to arrive. Ear-mark 45 min Mon-Wed and 30 min Thurs-Fri

Within 6 months your nerves will be shot, and you will become a hopeless alcoholic spending several hours a day drinking yourself into a stupor at the Backyard Grill in Chantilly.

OP here: Well, I got smart and went today instead and it was a piece of cake. Of course you could fry and egg outside. Smart decision.
