You may not like everything about Karen Garza, but think about the two superintendents before her - Jack Dale and Dan Domenech. When Karen Garza leaves FCPS, we'll get another person like Dale or Domenech. What a nightmare.

If Fairfax was a city rather than a county, would there be a different process?

Watch tomorrow night's Board of Education meeting which will be televised and you'll see the real problem. It's not Garza, Schultz, Wilson, or Hough. The others? They all need to follow McElveen, single file, straight out of Fairfax County. Oh my gosh they're killing such a great system too.

Serious question - what were the problems with Dale and Domenich?

Republicans had no future in Fairfax before Trump and have even less of one now. Take Schultz and her slightly less obnoxious fellow travelers (Hough - so dense; Wilson - so meek) and put them on a bus to NC or some other conservatard state the Koch Brothers have bought.
