It is a correct statement that my real estate taxes went up about 7% this past year?

If so another example of government bloating at its finest.

Read a couple of articles in this weekends Fairfax Times.
They explain the latest on Real Estate taxes and how screwed up FFX county has become. We, are all paying for all the illegals children and extra residents. Frankly, it's sickening!!! Most all your real estate tax goes for education and the salary increases of the low life school board.

If you can't afford the taxes here...MOVE!!!!! GET THE RUCK OUT AND STAY OUT, YOU PATHETIC LITTLE VERMIN!!!

OP- This funny little symbol "?" is called a Question Mark. It is to be used at the end of a question. Your first sentence is a statement and should end in a period "." not a question mark. Your second sentence is a question and should have a question mark at the end of it instead of a period.

There are lots of free resources to explain this to you by using Google. Once you master this, come back and try again.
