There's a turkish guy named "George" who has a salon at the Four Seasons in Georgetown.
My mother would only go to him or fly to New York City to get her hair done at some salon on the Upper East Side.
And she really isn't "rich", she just has enough means to do so. She still clips coupons and shops at TJ Maxx. She just values her hairstyling enough to go to NYC to shop and get a haircut, and visit family up there.
Otherwise, if Hair Cuttery is still in business, ten dollars is still a bad haircut.

Generally speaking, Fairfax is more of a general area in the middle of the county which includes Fairfax City.
Welcome to Northern Virginia. Don't let the trolls get to ya on this board. There is some worthwhile info here, just have to pick through to find it.

Columbia, Missouri. There are definitely some differences between here and there. Back home, I had a cute little 2 bedroom, 1 bath house with a big yard in a good part of town for 90-something thousand. That apparently costs at least triple here. Shesh...
The highway traffic is pretty much terrifying to me. So many lanes and so many cars. If you see somebody with Missouri plates driving slow and looking anxious, please don't honk. :)

Missouri is fine as long as you stay somewhere near the line between Kansas City and St. Louis. Don't stray too far north or south of that. :)

yes I have been to Missouri as a matter of fact, lot of country there. I was just wondering. I live in South Carolina myself and I love it. Some of the people here leave alot to be desired but I try not to interact with them. I used to live in around fairfax and it never ceased to amaze me why those people would support turning their county into nothing but a concrete, steel , rubber and glass farm. Fairfax is one of the most anti-green counties there are. but whatever. Anyways, you will make alot of money there, no doubt about that. Hopefully they will make you feel welcome
My wife goes to Modern Day Spa at Tyson's Corner Mall. It's near the Barnes and Noble side. Very low prices compared to some of the other places in NOVA.
