Get a feeder or two, dummy. Put out some suet. Your lone junco and his eight seeds are not really a sign of much.

Until they flip out and shoot everyone down at the local buffet.

The DMV is filled with lazy, incompetent state workers. They must have a contest every day to see who can turn away the most customers without completing whatever transaction they came for. Franconia branch is the worst.

Yeah, help the birds with target practice. A few cardinals and maybe a bluejay. The steal BBs work best. Great way to teach kids to shoot.

No NRA member has ever done that. As said law abiding people.

There were dozens of birds including female Cardinals and Doves most of which birds I cant name. I have a feeder on a pole too. I put out many orders of seed today and several helpings of water and they adored it.

Thanks for the ID of the Junco

It's been high volume here all day. Like giving away free hot dogs at a gun show.

I'll make them a deal. I'll feed them when they stop crapping on my car.

So easy to slow roast them over a crackling fire on a windy night, and share a cold bottle of white wine with the one you love.

Your right hand.

Okay that is good to hear. I saw quite a few birds right before the storm began but now I have not seen any and I was wondering about this. Thanks for the information :)

We were slammed while the snow was falling. Pretty much 25-30 birds at a time with others swapping in and out from the trees and bushes. It was still busy early this morning, but trended back toward normal (8-10 at a time) during the day. Working on our last bag of seed now, so a trip in to Oakton will be needed tomorrow.

I do not have a feeder. I just like to watch the birds that seem to congregate behind my house. A few of my trees seem to attract a lot of birds. But since the storm, I have seen very few birds.

I have been wondering about a feeder. I am not interested in attracting squirrels because of the plants that I grow on my deck.

I can suggest a option that will take care of the birds, and not attract squirrels.
