There is nothing to worry about. I don't know why people freak out. I just want to spin you right-round-baby, right 'round!

It is going to move further east out to sea.

On the tracker it looks like it will hit New Jersey directly and the outer portion will hit our area, which I guess would be just rain.

Yup looking more like rain event. Maybe some wind. But this Hurricane seems to like to loop in crazy circles so I wouldn't be surprised if it make some crazy West turn in the coast before NJ.

It's gonna move east of us. Might get a lil' rain but it looks like New Jersey could get another one. Just count on going to school and die slowly.

Hurricane Joaquin was upgraded to an "extremely dangerous" Category 4 storm Thursday afternoon, even as the East Coast was already preparing for potentially historic rainfall and flooding from another storm front.

So we're getting the storm before it gets to category 4? similar to Hurricane Sandy...hmm

The Angry Left were screaming in 2005 that Katrina was caused by Global Warming (to-wit, Robert Kennedy, Jr., and about the entire rest of the Democrat party).

And, the unscientific idiots that the Democrat party represents gleefully stated that 2006 would be the biggest hurricane year yet. All the models predicted it.

Now, 9-10 years later, not a single hurricane has made landfall.

But, the blathering fools are still walking around talking about Global Climate Change, and the "Scientific Consensus" as facts.

I'd rather stick to my studies, thank you. You Liberals should can keep on sticking to your issues, like having gay Generals in the military, abortions, and tofu.

New Today: (10/4) All Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) will open at their regular times on Monday, October 5. We’ve been closely monitoring the track of Hurricane Joaquin for the past several days and it’s now clear the storm will remain far out in the ocean as it passes Virginia. We appreciate your support and understanding during these forecast changes.

Sorry kids, get ready for school tomorrow.
