Another body found in the a pond?

Police responded to the report of what appeared to be a body in a pond on South Van Dorn Street near Kingstowne Village Parkway on Saturday, June 27 shortly after 11:30 AM. Officers arrived and located the body of an adult male in the pond. Homicide and Crime Scene detectives responded to the scene. Initially, there were no obvious signs of trauma to the body. Detectives will now attempt to positively identify the body and to notify next of kin. The medical examiner’s office will ultimately determine cause and manner of death.

It was once again just an unscrupulous contractor who murdered illegals at the completion of their day labor instead of paying them. You need to dump their bodies somewhere ya know.

Second Update – Body Found in Kingstowne Lake Identified
The deceased in this case has been identified through fingerprint evidence. The Northern Virginia Regional Identification System (NOVARIS), Investigative Support Division, notified Homicide detectives that the body was that of Kenneth Duane Bernhardt, 36, of Falls Church. The Office of the Chief Medical examiner determined that the death was a drowning that was not criminal in nature.

Who in their right mind goes swimming alone in an urban pond? Especially one in Kingstown when you live in Falls Church?

I founnd myself wondering the same thing McGruff. But I'm guessing he wasn't taking a leisure swim in that pond. Sorry for the family.

This is like an epidemic now. I wonder why they are saying it wasn't criminal, as he was fully clothed with shoes on and obviously wasn't going for a swim or fishing trip. Any news on the previous body that was a murder, Muffin?

Maybe because he was white and white lives don’t matter.
