Bullshit, these guys that think they're the consummate high-speed drivers are fine only as long as all the other drivers do what they think they're going to do.

When they don't, that's when the shit starts. And the higher the speeds involved, the less survivable the crash is....simple physics.

David was a well liked Kid and one of my good friends. There was no redistricting for him (to whomever said there was), he switched because his parents wanted him too. And to clear things up speed wasn't a factor.

David Forde did not intentionally kill himself or hurt his girlfriend. The pictures that some of you have posted are absolutely appalling. He was a young man who just passed away and this is how you treat death? I understand that some of you may joke because death isn't something your use to or something that is uncomfortable to you, but please don't do it in humor of someone.

I take this extremely personal. The Forde family is very close to my heart and my family's heart. Parents shouldn't have to bury their children and David was a charismatic and loving young man. That family has been through a lot of things and have kept smiles on their face through it all.

He did not intend to hurt anyone or himself. None of you probably knew him and thats alright. There is still a level of respect that you children need to grow into. What if this was a forum of people disrespecting your life or someone's life you love? And don't tell me you wouldn't care or you don't love someone because that's complete bullshit. At any moment someone you know or yourself could die, from a car accident, disease or simple accident.

Don't sit here on your computers making jokes and placing immature pictures up. Go be kids. Enjoy the beautiful weather outside. Sit down with your family. I don't always love my family.... so find your friends and spend time with them. You'' be a lot happier when your doing kinder things in the world. un-fairfax aboveground -- I am not willing nor do i want to kill myself. I use cutting as a stress relief. just like some do with a punching bag, smoking, or sleeping. If i know its just a stress relief thing, and its how i handle my depression, and i know im not gonna kill myself then yes im emotionally stable.

I used to be a cutter when I was an angsty teen, and for me it was about turning emotional pain I could not deal with into physical pain that I could quantify. Generally speaking, it worked, and was not done for attention.

That said, I eventually found a much healthier outlet, and I'm better off now.

Not necessarilly. I used to be in line with your school of thought, until I saw one of those 'Intervention' shows on A&E. This girl would cut herself and it looked as if she was 'speedballing'. She experienced this intense, manic, and coke-like high, followed by a dopey, heroin type episode, where she nodded off and passed the fuck out.
