Soon took his sol test on Monday, and I asked him how he did he said he wasn't sure. I emailed the teacher and CC the assistant principal and the principal and she didn't responded yet. Does that mean he failed?

They haven't responded to your email because the teacher, assistant principal and principal are still sitting around a computer laughing at how fucking stupid your "soon" is.

If a school goes on probation, so too the principal and assistant principal. One of the administrators from Gatehouse (e.g., Atwater) steps in to help, as much time as needed.

That goes for a year. If the school hasn't pulled itself up in a year, the principal (and assistant) and "stand in" administrator find themselves out of jobs. During that year, no travel, no conferences, no hiring consultants. Focus is 100% on saving the school.

Time to shake things up. Nardos King and Steve Lockard need to start earning those fat checks. Not unreasonable to expect direct intervention from the highly paid Dr. Karen Garza, either.

Test scores are one of the few measures of a school's performance.

If a school's leadership can't clean things up in two years then fire them. That is what would happen in a company.

A principal's job is not to go to conferences, hire consultants or fundraise. If education is not happening, then that principal needs to be removed.

The same applies to administrators. Who cares how many turf fields Karen Garza gets money for if the kids don't learn?
