Does anyone else thinks that only reason John Geer is getting the 3 million dollars is cause he is white? If he was black or hispanic nothing would of happen. NO ONE WOULD OF CARED and nothing would of happen to the Officer. Only reason something is happening is because John Geer is a white guy, and Officer is hispanic. I HATE JOHN GEER. JUST PRAY NOTHING HAPPENS TO THE COP. OFFICER TORRES NEEDS A GO FUND ME ACCOUNT. WE NEED TO SUPPORT HIM. I SUPPORT OFFICER TORRES 100$%

John Geer's family deserves more when you count inflation from 1991 to 2015 and the fact that a death occurred. His family should have been awarded around 5-6 million dollars.
It's also sad how Rodney King didn't get any money from LA County "cuz he black n noone even cared n shit" as you would say. 3rd world logic or trolling from OP.

Maybe I am the only one who thinks this, but the EX is moving out and Geer comes home....angry as hell and belligerent. She is scared, calls cops and says HE HAS GUNS. Cops show, the guy won't cooperate. This goes on and on and cops are on edge because the EX says she is scared shitless and that geer has guns. He moves and he is shot. I am sorry it happened, no one should die, but for gods sake, why didn't he just stop the nonsense. Now the EX wants money because she called the cops and said he was out of control and had guns and she needed help, but it went wrong and now she wants money. Ya know what, this is ridiculous. I am sorry, but John Geer played the biggest role in his own death. It was unfortunate it happened, but I think it all just went wrong that day, and Geer perpetuated the situation. He may still be alive today if he would have just walked out and cooperated.
