The cheapest and best places to live in Fairfax for singles

Just currious what you all think. Cheap and best really don't fit here in Fairfax but there are still some palces which are moerately priced for the area and have some good places within walking distance. Personally the Franconia area of Springfield would be my bet. Walking distance to the Metro, VRE, Amtrak, and Greyhound to get out and about. Lots of stores and restaurants within walking distance as well. Plus you are close to 95. Some complexes even have pretty nice pools and facilities.

only way to do it cheap in this area is get a room in a townhouse. not necessarily a bad situation with the right roommates.

If you're single don't move to sprinfield. Checkout north Arlington or DC. Life's too short to be single in Fairfax, especially springfield.
