Meet Westfield's new science teacher!

Brittany Nicole "Nikki" Poteet won the title of Miss Virginia USA 2011 on November 6, 2010.
Nikki is a 28 year old resident of Centreville, VA. In 2009, she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering, and recently completed her Master of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering, both from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Nikki spends time working with high school students, teaching them the importance of science and mathematics as well as describing the different fields of engineering careers. She looks forward to working with students at Westfield High School.
