Global Warming In Fairfax

Evidently, a local enviromental organization, the CCAN got all hysterical when the Wilkins Ice Shelf fractured and melted slightly over a year ago. One news story described the event this way:

"It was the edge of the Wilkins Ice Shelf and has been there for hundreds, maybe 1,500 years."

Personally, I was sick and tired of that phukkin thing anyway, so I was delighted to see it go. But the CCAN went into high gear and harrased both Gerry Connelly and Sharon Bulova to speak at at recent event they organized. Really, what the hell do either one of those nitwits know about Global Warming. In either case, at the CCAN website they have a "Carbon Calculator". I wonder if rather than a personal calulator, they could provide a county or municipal calulator. I wonder where Fairfax County would be on such measurements. I also wonder what their carbon footprint would be.

Speakers include Congressman Gerry Connolly, Fairfax Supervisor Sharon Bulova, local business leaders from Continuum Energy Solutions, EnviroCab, the Northern Virginia Regional Commission, and several others.
