The FCPS is closed fri 3/6. WHY?????

The roads are fine. A little snow never hurt anyone. Most areas got just below three inches. Kids will be going to the school until July 4th if the FCPS keeps this up!

Because the roads are still bad in many areas, not to mention they're clogged with carpetbaggers driving their white BMW's. Back when we were younger there weren't nearly as many self-important asshats who think they can drive in snow when they really can't out on the roads.

The roads are sheets of ice and the official snow total for Dulles was 9.5 inches and around 7.5 for centreville/chantilly i don't know where you got your information from, clearly you are just a troll or don't know how to measure

It does not matter what the main roads look like!
The problem comes when the school buses are trying to navigate unplowed, or barely plowed neighborhood streets. Not to mention kids slipping all over the streets nearly getting run down trying to get to the bus stops because they can't walk on uncleared neighborhood sidewalks.
Also, the school custodians, (the ones that clear the sidewalks at the schools) did not work on Thursday, they couldn't report due to weather. So they reported today (Friday) and cleared the sidewalks at the schools.
