bunch of haters in this thread, it's a great song and it doesn't matter who sang it! great song a great kids movie.

The fucking "Lamb Chop Song" is worse. Perhaps Minnie Ripperton's "Loving You" that is like finger nails on a blackboard.

She was born in New York, she is Jewish, with Russian and Eastern European ancestry.

As far as "Frozen" goes, I could take it or leave it. But at least she can actually sing, as opposed to a lot of the crap out there.

Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA" is painful to listen to because he cannot write grammatically sensible lyrices. Check out this snippet:

Sorry, Lee, but "an American" is not a location. We are people, not places. If you want to write: "And I'm proud to live in America, ..." that would make sense. In addition, you are diminishing the message when you add "at least."

And for posters arguing about the singer of "Let It Go," there are two versions, both sung by the child of American parentss, albeit one of Hispanic heritage.

Not that bad just hackneyed. I grew up in the 70's and 80's and nothing says bad song like Muskrat Love or Having My Baby - that was bad.
