CO2 Poisoing

Has anyone heard anything about any CO2 (Carbon Monoxide) poisoning cases related to Michael & Sons Sportsplex (Formerly Dulles Sportsplex). Had a couple of girls pass out during a game yesterday and now have one being checked for co2 poisoning. Haven't gotten her results yet but she thought she remembered this being an issue there once before. Any one got any actual authentic details?

Your first course of action would be to learn the difference between CO and CO2.

There is such a thing as CO2 poisoning, but outside of an airtight room you are unlikely to encounter it.

While carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning can happen in structures such as a typical home, it would take a great deal of CO or you would have to be next to the source to have a problem in a larger room or structure. Part of the reason is that CO is fairly unstable. In the presence of large amounts of air it should break down quickly.

Another problem is what is the source of the CO.

Okay so I'm obviously not a science person. Still the question remains. Has anyone had any concerns or know of any incidents of CO Poisoning at the Micheal & Sons Sportplex?

CO2 is a byproduct of trees that isn't the same as carbon monoxide that's carbon dioxide

Highly unlikely simply from the fact 2 people passed out. If everyone in the arena had a headache, vomiting, confusion and a assortment of other symptoms it would be more likely not to mention the FD would know the second they walk into the building . A suspected CO case takes the ER about 10 minutes to get the results from the lab, quit fishing for something that is not their.
