Most of the student body at Mt Vernon HS is trash from Fort Belvoir. So she's just playing to her audience.

The modern military wants their asses kissed 24/7, so this PR horseshit she's doing is smart. Gatehouse is full of ex-principals that pissed off his or her "community". Although they still draw their pay, who wants spend the rest of their career e-mailing nonsense back and forth?
