Near the intersection of Willard Road and Lee Road, there is an office park with at least 10 cruisers with lights flashing. I'm not sure what business is behind that area, but it looks like a perimeter has been formed toward the building in the rear corner.

The National Reconnaissance Office is right there. That's a CIA operation center.

NE corner would be - Fairfax County Criminal Justice Academy

according to their website, serving FCPD (and FCSO, towns of Reston and Herndon's PDs, and the FC Fire Marshall's office) to "provide the residents of Fairfax County with the most highly trained, competent, capable and professional law enforcement officers."

Well, that explains it. A local contractor was hanging drywall at the academy when the day laborer he hired the week before murdered him and hid his body under several fallen leaves.

It looks like a laser light show. I think they are showing the new cadets how impressive the strobes are after dusk.

Does this have anything to do with all the cops and helicopters in the herndon area right now?

So I heard banging on my door and went to check who it was and no one was there... then 10 mins later there is a bunch of cops right by my house and helicopters flashing lights everywhere. What the heck is going on. I live in Herndon btw.
