I was astonished to see on the recent Lock Up TV show that the prisoners are fed "the loaf". I thought that barbaric practice had been stopped by our government leaders long ago. Where is Sharon Bulova on this? Where are Penny Gross and Cathy Hudgins who are supposed to be champions of human rights? What is it that justifies starving prisoners by giving them and inedible brick of food three times a day? The Geneva convention would not let us treat prisoners of war this way but we do it to the prisoners in our jail. Name one other jail that does this………Right, there isn't one because it is unnecessary barbarism. Come on Bulova, Gross and Hudgins, walk the talk and make the Sheriff change this policy!

The sheriff could change the policy she doesn't need the approval from Bulova, Gross and Hudgins. She as sheriff just doesn't want to do anything but have her photo taken . Just look at some of the photos on this thread. She is an elected official and should make decisions on her own, but she never will.

What this thread talks about is nothing compared to the numerous scandals rocking the Fairfax County Sheriffs Office.You have a lawsuit by a female Deputy that has serious merit. You have staff getting arrested. You have staff having sex with other staff's spouses. There may be an IT issue that is costing the citizens of Fairfax County hundreds of thousands of dollars. Meanwhile Sheriff Kincaid goes to parades and mosques. Lovely.

The lawsuit is BS, the demoted Sgt. Needs to be fired for his actions prior to the DV arrest and the IT issue, well, it millions in cost overruns.
