Yup Nickens-Yzer definitely had a great game on Friday. Most of his highlights were his blocks. He was throwing players out of the way for AJ Turner. lol Thats a duo you can't stop!

Haha! per the coaches Nickens-Yzer was the most recruited player at Cville last year. He doesn't need Turner to give him a shot. 30+ Schools visited him. Unfortunately for him they couldn't offer bc of his grades. Actually he has one offer from ECU...

I doubt 30 plus schools came to see him. What I do agree with is 30 plus schools coming to see Turner and the Cville "coaches" saying..."by the way here is Nickens-Yzer, he is an okay player too." He has his chance to prove his offensive worth, and he failed. On D he acts like he's a big hitter, but constantly grabs for feet and gets lucky. He is an small fish in a big pond, just like the majority of the other Cville players when it comes to recruiting. The only one worth his weight in gold is Turner, that kid is real deal!!

Keep it real Bro. CV has mad scholly types. They should win. If they don't then it is a gag. WF has some scholly guys. They should win out as well. The Field has some scholly guys. Braddock had one and he got hurt. Talent wins games Dummies. Coaches enter when it is even up.

Not any more. He is talented, but his year doesn't begin to compare with his play last year. Not sure why, but the effort isn't always there on his part IMO. Too bad, because he is a freak of an athlete.

Xavier unfortunately had migraine issues his freshman and sophomore year which caused him to miss a lot of school. He is doing much better now however the hole he was put into (GPA wise) due to his migraines was too much to overcome.

The good news is that I heard a couple of D1 schools are still interested and might offer. If not, he will likely go to fork union or a junior college and then transfer to D1 school. Wherever he goes he will do well.

Anyway, good luck Xavier with all your future endeavors! Whether or not you bring home the ring this weekend, you made C'ville nation proud...

Yo Keep it real: If CV and Wf should win cause they have schools types who was the best coaches team in the region?

I watched the game online on Saturday and was surprised to see AJ Turner not in on defense until late in the 2nd half!! And Charles Tutt and N-Yzer were constantly being substituted in and out of the game on defense. Why?? They are your best/fastest defensive players. How do you expect them to get into a rhythm if they are consonantly being substituted out. Btw, it's no surprise that both Westfiled scores came when either Turner or N-Yzer were out. Thank goodness they had enough sense to keep Tyler Love in the whole game.

Typically sore loser. I rooted for Westfield when they were playing for States even though I am a CVHS fan.

In any case, I will be there Saturday, but I do not have a good feeling about the game, after seeing the size and talent of the kids on Ocean Lakes. Haddock needs to come up with an great game plan.
