I have this shitty neighbor who neglects her cat. All winter she left him out in the cold and I brought him in to my house.

Today is DAY SIX where she is not home and he is locked inside alone.

Who knows if he has food or water.

I am sooooo tempted to break a window.

Legal ramifications??

Don't break in and get yourself in trouble, report it to animal

Day 6 you say? Is she on vacation? Maybe she has someone coming by to give the cat food and water (and clean up its mess).

it is fine to leave cats alone for up to 4 weeks without food, i do it and just leave the toilet seat up. occasional mouse is a snack but their fine, plus they love you soooo much more when you get back and feed them!

When I go on vacation, I bring the cat to the pound. If I liked the cat, I get it again if it is still there or if the cat was a pain, I get a new one. It is way cheaper then boarding it or paying somebody to take care of it. It not like they are real pets or anything. People at the pound don't care, they just nuke em after a week or two anyway.
