Bull sharks have been caught in the Potomac on more than one occasion, so it's possible if exceedingly unlikely.

Some people in Great Falls have huge aquariums large enough for a human to swim in and get attacked by the sharks inside of them protecting their territory.
So yes it is possible.

I was pummeled by IRS Chief John Koskinen's snark in my Fairfax living room a couple of weeks ago.

Do you mean likely? It is possible, but there haven't been any confirmed shark attacks anywhere close to us, other than perhaps VA Beach.
ADD time though, the guy on Discovery who hung out with Bull sharks and got rocked, I loved it. That Bull Shark took a nice chunk.
